Unlocking The World of AWS re:Invent 2022

AWS re:Invent 2022

In CEO Adam Selipsky’s 2022 AWS re:Invent keynote kicking off the highly anticipated week-long symposium, he spoke about the world of J.R.R. Tolkien, known for fusing disparate elements and symbols into a single and cohesive storyline. This storyline has continued to grow with multiple modern-day adaptations — creating a single world that is ever-developing.

This sentiment of evolution remains true, according to Selipsky, for the world of Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS has continued to transform and innovate over time reimagining key business solutions to help organizations leverage the power of the cloud and ensure future growth.

As a key ISV Accelerate Partner available in the AWS Marketplace, here at ActionIQ we’ve gathered our key takeaways surrounding the announcements made at AWS re:Invent 2022. Read more to understand what this means for you and your business

Unlocking The World of AWS re:Invent 2022

Prepare for an Uncertain Future

It’s clear economic uncertainty is on the horizon, but it’s not the time to cut costs across your technology investments. Lean into the cloud and prepare for the changing landscape — so your organization can be nimble in the wake of this disruption.

The impending recession is the time to invest in your organization’s data in a way that is flexible — and only pay for what you use.

Challenging environments are an opportunity to differentiate and innovate in ways that we haven’t seen before — and the first step is clear and actionable accessibility to data.

ActionIQ paired with the power of AWS enables organizations to achieve success and growth by keeping CX (and ongoing customer experience optimization) at the forefront of their strategy. By driving agility, adaptability and efficiency across your organization, you’re able to grow customer lifetime value and inspire long-term value — all while cutting costs.

Maximize The Power of First-Party Data

The death of third-party cookies has been on the horizon for some time now, with changing regulations forcing organizations to adopt a more flexible approach to how they leverage first-, second- and third-party data.

Data Clean Rooms have become a key technology for many organizations as they enable businesses to leverage external business partners’ data to build a privacy-safe and comprehensive view of customers — and ultimately, enable more informed omnichannel experiences in a world without third-party cookies.

AWS announced they’ll be introducing AWS Clean Rooms to help customers create data clean rooms to collaborate with relevant business partners to generate new insights while ensuring the privacy of the underlying data.

ActionIQ has led the charge in adopting a flexible approach to first-party data partnering with multiple Data Clean Room providers to ensure businesses have the ability to expand their customer data and act on it securely.

Navigate Leading Advertising and Marketing Technology Vendors with Ease

In an effort to help customers navigate the unprecedented rise surrounding advertising and marketing technology inherent to a modern data stack, AWS re:Invent 2022 curated a comprehensive list of leading vendors.

With the announcement of the AWS for Advertising & Marketing initiative, businesses now have the opportunity to explore leading purpose-built AWS solutions simplifying the process to select tools to accelerate their strategy and see faster time to value (and even speed to market).

ActionIQ is thrilled to be included and support this initiative, to help drive advertising and marketing transformation.

Redshift is Becoming More Collaborative

Analysts predict that by 2027, we’re going to create more than double the amount of data produced since the dawn of the digital age.

As your data continues to grow, your strategy needs to as well.

AWS announced the Amazon Aurora zero-ETL integration with Amazon Redshift making it easier to run large-scale analytics on transactional data including purchases, reservations and financial trades with Amazon Redshift.

It’s key for organizations to manage their data and stitch together insights utilizing the most appropriate tools for their needs. As data sits at the center of all of your applications and serves as the cornerstone of your strategy, it’s key to have collaborative tools that power your organization.

Adopt a Flexible Architecture

The movement to adopt a composable architecture has been gaining momentum and this year’s AWS re:Invent solidified it. This echoes the message that “composability is here to stay” from our recent Garnet IT Symposium recap.

Businesses have invested years centralizing data in their Amazon Redshift cloud data warehouse to serve as a single source of truth for their business. Now more than ever, with the expansions to Redshift, it’s key for IT teams to remain in control of their data with a zero copy data sharing approach.

ActionIQ’s composable CDP paired with Redshift enables businesses to sync their data with last-mile execution tools, immediately pushing data from the data warehouse directly to the channel. This enables informed and personalized customer experiences at every touchpoint, while keeping your IT team in control at every step.

Like the evolution of the world of Tolkien, the world of AWS re:Invent will continue to grow and expand and we look forward to helping current and future AWS customers make the most of their investments.
